LISA'S TACO BEAN DIP

I got this great recipe from a recipe pamphlet but I can't remember which company put it out! It's an easy bean dip that's great with corn chips or tortilla chips. Add more cheese if you like.

Steps:

  • Combine beans, taco seasoning and tomatoes in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cheese and stir to melt, then serve!

Steps:

  • Place the beans in the bottom of one 9x13 inch clear glass dish.
  • In a medium bowl combine the sour cream with the taco seasoning. Spread mixture over the beans. Spread the salsa over the top of the sour cream. Top the sour cream with a layer of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and olives. Sprinkle cheese over the top and serve.

  • In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.
  • Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.

  • First, you want to cook the onion and the beef. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the onion saute for 2 minutes, then add the ground beef and half of the taco seasoning. (Save the rest of the taco seasoning, you will need it). Stir the meat to break it up and to evenly distribute the taco seasoning. Once the beef has browned, set it aside.
