SLOW COOKER MULLED WINE
The gentle, even heat from a slow cooker means the mulled wine doesn't boil and the flavours stay fresh, leave it to heat while you eat, drink and be merry!

Steps:
- Put all the ingredients (except the slices of orange) in a slow cooker on low for 1 1/2 - 2hrs until hot. Ladle into heatproof glasses and serve with slices of orange. Using the 'keep warm' setting (if your cooker has one) will ensure the mulled wine stays hot during the party.

MULLED POMEGRANATE AND RED WINE PUNCH (SLOW COOKER)

Steps:
- Stir together all ingredients in a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker; cover.
- Cook until very hot, about 1 hour on High or 2 hours on Low; once hot keep warm on low heat up to 4 hours.
- A serving is 1 cup.
RED WINE PUNCH
This is a good punch that people seem to like, even those that don't care for red wine. The prep time does not include the chill time for the punch or the freezing of the ice ring if using one. (You can also use the recipe for wine coolers.)

Steps:
- Mix the first 3 ingredients together, using equal amounts of each.
- Put in the fridge to chill.
- If making punch freeze some of the leftover ginger ale to use as an ice ring in the punch bowl.
- If using ice ring put it in the punch bowl.
- Pour punch into bowl.
- Squeeze half the lime over top of the punch.
- May slice and float lime slices in bowl if desired.

- Place cinnamon sticks, cloves and rosemary on a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag., In a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker, combine the wine, cranberries, sugar, bourbon, orange juice and zest. Add spice bag. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through. Discard spice bag. Serve warm.
