Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Arrange chicken in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk in a small bowl; mix well. Pour over the chicken.
  • Toss stuffing mix with melted butter in a bowl, adding hot water to moisten. Sprinkle stuffing over chicken in the casserole dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

This is one of the first recipes I really "mastered" when I was learning how to cook. My husband got to enjoy this recipe at least twice a month because it was one of the few dishes I knew how to make. Now, that I'm a much better cook, we still have this delicious dinner on our menu at least monthly. It is so easy to put together and very good. If you like your casserole's creamy, then this is one you've gotta try! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Easy Creamy Sour Cream Chicken Casserole image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Boil chicken breast until tender; drain and cube.
  • Spread evenly over the bottom of a square casserole dish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix sour cream and chicken soup in a separate bowl.
  • Spread the sour cream and soup mixture over the chicken in the casserole dish.
  • Crush the Ritz crackers and spread over top of the casserole.
  • Spoon melted butter on top over all.

Easy Creamy Chicken Casserole image

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Mix the crackers and melted butter together in a bowl; set aside.
  • Bring water and chicken stock to a boil in a pot over high heat. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the chicken. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink in the center, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain the chicken; set aside. Whisk together the sour cream and cream of chicken soup in a large bowl. Stir in the chicken, then transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the cracker mixture on top.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line 1/4 bag of cornbread stuffing in bottom of 9" x 13" pan.
  • Put all of the chopped cooked chicken on top of stuffing.
  • Mix soups and 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth together in medium-sized bowl.
  • Pour mixture on top of chicken.
  • Pour stuffing (as much as desired) on top.
  • Pour remaining 1 1/2 cups of broth over top of stuffing.

My Way Creamy Sauce - Chicken Casserole image

Steps:

  • In a sauce pan combine all ingredients except the sour cream and linguine pasta.
  • Stir several times over medium/low heat until the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat and add the sour cream and blend well.
  • NOTE: You can add fresh cooked veggies and your special spices at this time.
  • In a bowl blend together the pasta and 1/2 of the sauce and pour into a 9X13 baking dish.
  • Set aside the other 1/2 sauce and cover with a lid.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  • Note: The extra sauce is to be served warmed up in a bowl or individual small bowls and used like a gravy spooned over the finished casserole servings.
  • Sprinkle of grated Parmesan is always a nice touch.

My Way Creamy Sauce - Tuna Casserole image

Steps:

  • In a sauce pan combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, Velveeta, frozen peas, onion, and spices.
  • Stir several times over medium/low heat until the cheese is melted.
  • In a bowl combine tuna, mayonnaise, pasta and only 1/2 the sauce, then pour into a 9x13 lightly greased glass baking dish.
  • Set the remaining 1/2 sauce aside covered with a lid.
  • Quickly mix the melted butter and crackers and sprinkle evenly across the casserole.
  • A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top is nice.
