HAM PASTA SALAD
I "invented" this salad as I went along...it's a combination of various pasta salad recipes I'd seen. It can be served as a side dish, of course. In summer, however, my husband doesn't care for hot meals, so I make it as a main dish. We're recent city transplants with two young children, ages 6 and 3.

HAM PASTA SALAD
This is a great mayo based cold salad for the summer. When I was little, my mom would make a bowl and I would finish all of the leftovers the next day. Since my fiance hates onions, I stir them in last after I scoop his half into another bowl.

PASTA & HAM SALAD
This salad is the perfect choice for a family gathering or pot luck. A pasta salad with ham, fresh grapes, cheese, and a creamy dill dressing. There isn't any reason you couldn't add other favorite salad ingredients...small grape tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, etc. Or...How about cubed grilled chicken and pineapple tibbits? The variations are endless...so please leave your suggestions...I love salads and variety.

AWESOME HAM PASTA SALAD
I never seem to make enough of this salad. When people see the recipe, they look at me as if I am a little odd...but when they eat it they can't seem to stop! This recipe is great for kids and adults alike. The garlic is optional. Also, to lighten up the salad, substitute light mayonnaise, light sour cream, and turkey ham.

HAWAIIAN HAM AND BACON PASTA SALAD
Sweet, salty, smoky and a little bit spicy, there's a whole lot of flavor going on here, and with surprisingly few ingredients. That's the genius of this recipe: It combines a few complementary ingredients to scrumptious effect. Pineapple bits, ham chunks, bacon crumbles and diced jalapeño folded into the creamy pasta base make for a mouthwatering meal that you can probably pull together without running to the store. It's a great use of leftover ham, but also beautiful enough to feature on your Easter brunch table. Whether you're making it for tonight's dinner or a major holiday, prep it ahead of time and stash it in the fridge, so it's quick to assemble when it's time to come to the table.
