Chicken Cordon Bleu image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in glass baking dish.
  • Lightly flatten chicken breasts between plastic wrap with mallet. Lay 1 slice of ham and 1 piece of cheese on flattened breast, fold in half and seal close with toothpicks. Repeat process for remaining chicken breasts.
  • Coat each piece with flour, then eggs and then bread crumbs. Place chicken pieces in glass baking dish. Turn to coat with butter.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with parselyed rice and steamed broccoli.

4 boneless, skinless breasts of chicken
2 eggs lightly beaten
4 very thin slices smoked ham
2 cups bread crumbs
6 ounces Lorraine Swiss cheese, cut into four chunks

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, onions and garlic powder together set aside. Flatten chicken breasts using a rolling pin spread cream cheese mixture down the center of each chicken breast fold chicken in half. Wrap 2 bacon strips around each chicken breast secure with toothpicks. Arrange in an ungreased 13" x 9" baking pan bake at 350 degrees for one hour. From "5 Ingredients or Less!" Steps:

  • Spread Chicken breasts flat.
  • Place Ham & Cheese slices on breasts.
  • Fold breasts, ham & cheese over.
  • Fasten edges with toothpicks.
  • Mix Flour and Paprika.
  • Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.
  • Melt Margerine in 12" skillet.
  • Cook chicken til browned on all sides.
  • Add Wine and bouillon.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover skillet.
  • Simmer 30 minutes or until fork-tender.
  • Remove from skillet, remove toothpicks.
  • Blend Cornstarch and Cream until smooth.
  • Gradually stir into skillet.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  • Serve over chicken.

Steps:

  • The day before serving flatten chicken breast with the flat side of meat mallet.
  • Place 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of swiss cheese on each half of chicken breast.
  • Roll up like a jely roll, folding in the sides to hold in the ham and cheese.
  • Wrap a slice of bacon around each roll.
  • Put a kabob stick in each roll to hold the roll together.
  • Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour melted butter and garlic over rolls.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parmesian cheese (Cover and refrigerate).
  • The day of serving bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • For sauce:.
  • Heat soups and mushrooms until smooth.
  • Blend in one cup of sour cream.
  • Pour over rolls.
