Steps:
- Blend all ingredients except bread and butter in a medium bowl.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Put sandwiches together using about 1/2 cup of filling each.
- Place buttered side of bread on the outside of sandwich.
- Toast on griddle or in skillet until a deep golden brown. Make sure you cook this slowly over low to med-low heat, so that the inside has a chance to melt before the outside gets too done. Kick up the heat when it gets going.
- *Depending on the size of your bread, this makes 6-10 sandwiches.

- Place each American cheese slice between two pieces of bread to assemble 6 sandwiches.

- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Combine butter, parsley, Pecorino Romano cheese, and garlic in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
- Lightly coat 1 side of each bread slice with the butter mixture. Flip bread and top 2 slices evenly with provolone cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered-sides up.
- Place sandwiches into the hot skillet. Cook until golden brown on one side, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the second side and cheese has melted, 3 to 4 minutes more. Cut each sandwich in half and serve.

I came up with this recipe for my niece. I combined grilled cheese sandwiches with garlic bread. Its tasty, its quick and its the perfect appetizer for friends, family and unexpected guests. Use a firm white bread for best results.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven's broiler.
- Place 6 slices of bread onto a baking sheet. Spread a small handful of the mozzarella cheese over each slice. Top with the remaining 6 slices of bread. Mix together the butter and garlic powder, brush some over the tops of the sandwiches, or spread with the back of a tablespoon. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Place baking sheet under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown. Remove pan from oven, flip sandwiches, and brush the other sides with butter, and sprinkle with oregano. Return to the broiler, and cook until golden, about 2 minutes.
- Cut sandwiches in half diagonally, and serve immediately with vodka sauce on the side for dipping.

ANTIPASTO GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH

- Blot dry the roasted red pepper.
- Slice the marinated artichoke heart in half, then press it to flatten.
- Set these ingredients aside.
- Melt butter in a non stick skillet over med/low heat.
- Dip one side of each slice of bread in the melted butter and set aside.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Top with mozzerella, salami, roasted red pepper, and artichoke halves.
- Place other piece of bread ontop, buttered side up, and grill for about 2 minutes, pressing down on the sandwich the entire time. Check to see that the bottom is browning. Then flip the sandwich over and repeat cooking process to brown the other side.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
- Enjoy!
GARLIC GRILLED CHEESE
Ahhh... Gaaahlic! Who doesn't love it? I was making a variation of the Potato Chip Chicken recipe and melted a bit too much margarine. So I stuck it in the fridge and made this grilled cheese the next day. I'll never make plain grilled cheese again!

Steps:
- The measurements on the margarine are approximate since I made a large portion of the garlic margarine and keep it in the fridge.
- Put garlic salt and margarine in small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl and melt.
- Place in refrigerator to cool to a semi-solid state.
- Pour off any liquid that settles on the top.
- Use the garlic margarine mixture to butter one side of each slice of bread and place buttered side down on a griddle.
- Place cheese on top of one piece of bread.
- Cook until browned on bottom (bread is usually ready when the cheese is good and melted).
- Slap the two pieces together and Enjoy!

- Butter bottom and top of roll.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Put seasoned side down in hot skillet. Don't walk away, as it will brown quickly.
- Layer one side of roll with cheese and sliced tomato and other side with other slice of cheese.
- Watch to see when the cheese starts to melt. This doesn't take long.
- Flip the just cheese side on top of the tomato side and slide out onto plate. Cut in half.
