Steps:
- In a small saucepan, combine raspberries and juice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cook and stir over medium heat until liquid is almost evaporated, about 30 minutes. Remove from the heat. Press through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl; discard seeds. Transfer puree to a pitcher. Stir in wine and strawberries. Refrigerate, covered, until chilled. Serve with ice; garnish with mint.

This is the best-selling summer cocktail at Ralph Lauren's Polo Bar in Manhattan, where it is regarded as "summer in a glass." A critical ingredient is French grapefruit liqueur, or pamplemousse, a relatively new spirit that contributes aroma, a touch of sweetness and a bitter edge, even in a small dose. It marries superbly with rosé wine. Consider adding a splash of it to a glass of rosé Champagne.

- The next day, mix the strawberries with the sugar and leave to sit for 30 mins until the strawberries begin to release their juices.
- Blend the frozen rosé, strawberries, sugar and lemon juice together, then divide between glasses for the ultimate refreshing summer cocktail.
