MEYER LEMON CREAM SAUCE FOR SALMON

The salmon can be cooked any way you prefer, because the star of this recipe is the lemon cream sauce made with Meyer lemon.

Meyer Lemon Cream Sauce for Salmon image

Steps:

  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook salmon, skin side-up, until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Turn salmon and continue cooking until skin side is slightly browned and fish flakes easily with a fork, about 5 minutes more.
  • Meanwhile, melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan. Press garlic into the butter using a garlic press and cook for 1 minute. Pour in cream and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and dill. Be careful that the sauce doesn't break.
  • Serve sauce over salmon.

Steps:

  • Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with heavy-duty foil; grease lightly. Place salmon skin side down on foil. Sprinkle with lemon pepper and onion salt. Top with onion and lemon. Dot with butter. Fold foil around salmon; seal tightly,, Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Open foil carefully, allowing steam to escape. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 3-5 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork., Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients until smooth. Serve with salmon.

Salmon Fillets and Lemon Butter Sauce image

Steps:

  • Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder and thyme. Turn salmon over and repeat. Using your hands, rub seasoning into salmon. Let marinate for a minimum of 10 minutes.
  • In medium non-stick skillet heat oil over medium to high heat.
  • Add salmon and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Gently turn salmon over and repeat.
  • While waiting for your salmon to cook, microwave butter until melted. Usually about 30-40 seconds.
  • Add lemon juice to melted butter and mix.
  • Remove salmon from pan and place on dish.
  • Spoon lemon butter sauce over the top of each salmon fillet.
  • Suggestion:.
  • Serve with warm rice and add a side of freshly steamed veggies such as fresh cut green beans and sliced almonds.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and place salmon fillets in the dish.
  • Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second increments until melted, 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  • Pat dry room temperature salmon filets with paper towel. Season all over with salt, pepper. Squeeze 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice over each filet, and rub all the flavour in.
  • Heat the olive in a large non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place salmon filets flesh side down, pressing them lightly so the entire surface of the flesh comes into contact with the pan. Sear, undisturbed, for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Flip and sear the other side of each filet for TWO minutes. Add in the butter, chopped garlic, 3 tablespoons of parsley, remaining lemon juice and lemon slices. Stir the butter and garlic around each filet.
