TACO BISCUIT BAKE

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles; drain. Stir in water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened., Meanwhile, quarter the biscuits; place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Layer with beef mixture, chili and cheese. , Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and biscuits are golden brown. Serve with salsa and sour cream if desired.

1 envelope taco seasoning

Salsa Beef Biscuit Bake image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Spray square pan, 9x9x2 inches, with cooking spray. Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in salsa. Spread beef mixture in pan.
  • Stir Bisquick mix, milk, onion and cheese in medium bowl until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 12 tablespoonfuls over mixture in pan.
  • Bake uncovered about 25 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in biscuits comes out clean.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cut biscuits into quarters; arrange evenly in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Layer with vegetables and shredded cheese. Whisk together eggs, milk and seasonings; pour evenly over layers. Top with salsa., Bake, uncovered, until casserole is browned and middle is set, 35-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Top servings with fresh cilantro leaves and additional salsa.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. Divide biscuits into quareters. Place biscuits into baking dish.
  • In bowl, combine salsa, ground turkey, cooked and crumbled, pepppers, onions, chiles and olives.
  • Pour mix over biscuits. Bake 20 mins. Sprinkle w/ cheeses and bake additional 10 mins.

2 - 12 pkgs refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 - 16 oz jar favorite salsa
1 pound(s) ground turkey breast, cooked and crumbled
1 - 4 oz can ortega diced green chilies
1/2 cup(s) green bell pepper, chopped.
1/2 cup(s) onion, chopped
1/2 cup(s) sliced black olives, drained
1 cup(s) reduced-fat, shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup(s) reduced-fat, shredded mexican-style cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, tomatillo, and salt to taste. Mix well. Add 1/2 of the jalapeno pepper, and taste. If you desire your salsa with more of a kick, add the remaining 1/2 jalapeno. If you are satisfied with the salsa's heat, do not add the remaining jalapeno pepper. Cover the salsa, and chill until ready to serve.
