SANGRIA SLUSHIE
Consider this sangria 2.0. Your favorite Spanish beverage has gone slushy thanks to some clever homemade red wine ice cubes and a blender. It's your new favorite summertime drink -- step aside daiquiris.

Steps:
- Fill 2 ice cube trays with the red wine and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours and preferably overnight.
- Combine the brandy, orange liqueur and sugar in a small container with a lid. Refrigerate until ready to make the sangria.
- Combine the frozen berries, red wine ice cubes and chilled brandy mixture in a blender. Blend on high until combined, thick and slushy. Pour into a pitcher and serve.
UNWIND SANGRIA
This festive white sangria couldn't be easier or prettier. When I know a crowd of friends or family are coming over, I whip up a batch and keep it in the fridge to let the fruit infuse with the wine and rum. I love to use peaches and berries, but feel free to use your favorite fruit.

Steps:
- Combine the peaches, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries in a serving pitcher. Add the wine and rum. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. (The flavors get better as they stand.)
- To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice and top with the Italian soda. Garnish with the mint.
PUNCH BOWL SANGRIA WITH FRUIT JUICE CUBES
Very flavorful and refreshing. Making cubes out of fruit juice keeps the Sangria chilled and won't water it down as the cubes melt.

Steps:
- Make ice cubes with orange and/or pineapple juice (or juice of choice).
- Two-hours before serving, combine remaining ingredients in a punch bowl. Taste and adjust flavors to your liking. This isn't a science. Refrigerate for two hours to allow flavors to develop.
- To serve, leave it in the bowl or pour into glass pitchers.
- Add frozen cubes before serving.
- Ladle/pour into tall glasses and be sure to ladle some of the wine-swollen fruit into the glass.

- Wash and slice the fruit to your liking. I recommend slicing the grapes in half, and other fruits into cubes or thin slices.
- Place all the fruit into a large bowl and cover with the sugar. Stir gently. Leave to macerate for at least five minutes, but longer if you have the time (overnight would be perfect). Stir again if needed until almost all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Add this entire mixture to a large pitcher filled 3/4 of the way with your white wine. Mix together gently with a wooden spoon.
