Grilled steak and chicken that doesn't dry out on the grill, but stays moist and flavorful. These kabobs are simple to make, and delicious to eat. Skewered meat with peppers, onions, and mushrooms in a honey teriyaki sauce.

Steps:
- In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger. Place red bell peppers, onion wedges, mushrooms, beef, and chicken in the bag with the marinade. Seal, and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
- Discard marinade, and thread the meat and vegetables onto skewers, leaving a small space between each item.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill skewers for 10 minutes, turning as needed, or until meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

- In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, light brown sugar, distilled white vinegar, garlic powder, seasoned salt, garlic pepper seasoning, and lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage. Reserve about 1/2 cup of this marinade for basting. Place steak in a large resealable plastic bag. Cover with the remaining marinade, and seal. Refrigerate for 8 hours, or overnight.
- Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Add green peppers, and cook for 1 minute, just to blanch. Drain, and set aside.
- Preheat grill for high heat. Thread steak, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pineapple onto skewers in an alternating fashion. Discard marinade and the bag.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook kabobs on the prepared grill for 10 minutes, or to desired doneness. Baste frequently with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

- Marinate beef sirloin tips in 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and freshly ground pepper in a shallow dish for 30 minutes. Soak 4 wooden skewers in water. Meanwhile, slice zucchini and summer squash into 1/2-inch rounds. Cut onion into wedges and red bell pepper into 1-inch pieces.

- Heat a grill or grill pan. Place ground coriander and anise seeds in a medium bowl. Add garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, and 1/4 cup olive oil. Season marinade with salt, and stir until combined. Add sirloin cubes, and stir to coat.
- In a medium bowl, combine mushrooms, onions, and remaining 1/4 cup olive oil. Season with salt and pepper; toss to coat.
- Divide steak among 4 skewers; thread, leaving 1/2 inch between each cube. Divide vegetables among another 4 skewers; thread.
- Grill the sirloin kebabs until well browned and medium rare, and grill the vegetable kebabs until glistening, tender, and slightly charred, 5 to 7 minutes for both. Serve on the skewers.

- Combine the first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl or ziplock bag. Add the beef cubes; cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, stirring or turning occasionally. Remove the beef cubes from the marinade, reserving the marinade.

- Mix together first nine ingredients for marinade.
- Add meat, stir to coat, then cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Alternate cubes of meat with pepper squares, small onions, tomatoes and mushrooms.

- Note: I like to blanch the onions and green peppers first before placing on the skewers.

- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, garlic and pepper. Transfer 1/3 cup of the mixture to a large microwave-safe bowl. Place the remaining mixture in a gallon-size ziploc bag and add the meat, tossing lightly. Press the air out of the bag, seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 2 hours (don’t marinate longer than 2 hours or the beef will be too salty).
- Add the bell peppers, onion and mushrooms to the bowl with the reserved soy sauce mixture and toss to coat. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and let marinate for 30 minutes. Microwave the vegetables until the onions are translucent at the edges, about 3 minutes, stirring halfway. Uncover the vegetables and set aside until the meat is fully marinated.
- Thread the meat onto the skewers, distributing the veggies among the pieces of meat. Grill the kebabs over medium heat, covered, turning frequently, until the meat is well browned and vegetables are tender, about 14-16 minutes. Serve.
