DELICIOUS SPAGHETTI BREAD
I had a co-worker share this recipe with me and I put my own twist on it and thought it turned out to be quite tasty! My hubby does not like regular spaghetti but really enjoyed it this way!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Transfer ground beef to a mixing bowl.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain. Transfer spaghetti to bowl with ground beef and mix in spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese.
- Unroll pizza dough onto a baking sheet. Starting with a long edge, cut the 2 outer thirds of the crust into 1-inch horizontal strips, leaving the center third uncut. Spoon spaghetti mixture onto the center third from top to bottom. Spread mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti mixture.
- Braid the dough strips over the filling by pulling a dough strip across the filling and pulling another strip from the opposite side over the first strip. Pinch strips together and continue to braid until the filling is covered with braided dough. Mix garlic into olive oil in a small bowl. Brush olive oil mixture over the top of the bread.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the filling is hot and the crust is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve cut in slices.

SPAGHETTI BREAD
You're sure to love the heavenly aroma and pleasant herb flavor of this tender bread from Lois Gelzer of Standish, Maine. "It's great with spaghetti and meatballs or most any Italian pasta dish," she suggests.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F Line a loaf pan with foil (I like the release foil).
- In a medium sauce pan melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly, or until it smells a little nutty.
- With a whisk, gradually mix in the milk. This is when you decided how much milk you think it will need.
- Bring sauce to a boil, stirring constantly, remove from the heat and add the cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Pour about 1/3 tablespoons of the sauce on the bottom of the loaf pan then top evenly with 1/3 of the pasta sauce and then the pasta itself.
- Repeat this two more times, cover the pan with more foil then bake in oven for 20-30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve.
- This is very good next to a italian breaded chicken breast. MMMMmmmm!

JO MAMA'S WORLD FAMOUS SPAGHETTI
My kids will give up a steak dinner for this spaghetti. It is a recipe I have been perfecting for years and it is so good (if I may humbly say) that my kids are disappointed when they eat spaghetti anywhere else but home! In fact they tell me I should open a restaurant and serve only this spaghetti and garlic bread. In response to requests, I have posted the recipe for Recipe #28559 that uses approximately 1/2 of the sauce from this recipe. Have spaghetti one night and lasagna later! Thanks to all of you who have tried my recipe and have written a review. I read and appreciate every one of them! Chef Note: After I posted this recipe I remembered a funny incident--my dear husband usually has a nice bottle of wine handy so when I make a batch of spaghetti I just help myself to a splash of it. On one occasion, there wasn't a bottle opened, but there was a bottle sitting on the counter so I got out the corkscrew and helped myself. For some reason, the spaghetti that night was the best ever. My husband asked what wine I put in it and I showed him the bottle. He nearly fell off the chair. I had opened a rather expensive bottle he had bought to give his boss. Goes to show you--don't use a wine for cooking you wouldn't drink. You get the best results from a good wine!

Steps:
- In large, heavy stockpot, brown Italian sausage, breaking up as you stir.
- Add onions and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until onions are softened.
- Add garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce and water.
- Add basil, parsley, brown sugar, salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper.
- Stir well and barely bring to a boil.
- Stir in red wine.
- Simmer on low, stirring frequently for at least an hour. A longer simmer makes for a better sauce, just be careful not to let it burn!
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- Spoon sauce over drained spaghetti noodles and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
MEATLOAF SPAGHETTI SAUCE
This was an inspired thought that sometimes happens when you think you are going to make one meal...everyone says they don't want it and magically it turns into something else..much better than the original plan! This was my fast meatloaf solution turned into spaghetti sauce. It's fun to play with and may evolve into something else if you don't watch out!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 180C/160 fan/gas 4 and grease an ovenproof dish. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat, add the onions, sizzle for 5 mins, then remove half and put in a large bowl with the mince, egg, breadcrumbs, sage, feta and chopped bay. Season well and mix. Shape into a long sausage shape and transfer to the greased dish. Put the remaining bay leaves on top, drizzle with a little more oil and put in the oven for 40-45 mins until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, keep the remaining onions on a low heat in the pan. Cook for 2 mins, then increase the heat and pour in the passata with 70ml water. Bubble for 30 mins on a low heat, stirring often, or until the meatloaf is ready to come out of the oven. Season to taste.
- Cook the spaghetti following pack instructions. When everything is ready, toss the spaghetti in the tomato sauce, slice the meatloaf and let everyone help themselves.

DELICIOUS MEATLOAF SPAGHETTI SAUCE
O.K. Guys, here's one more recipe using leftover meatloaf. I wanted something else besides a sandwich and this is what developed. Feel free to use your favorite spaghetti sauce. I just used what was on hand. Also, if you would like to add other things, go right ahead. Serve over your favorite cooked pasta or maybe even rice. Submitted to "ZAAR" on October 30th, 2007.
