Spicy Jalapeno Bites Recipes

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg yolks, jalapeno peppers, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix to form a paste. Shape into balls and roll in bread crumbs until breading is about 1/4 inch thick. Place balls on an ungreased baking sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm or freeze in a resealable plastic bag for later.

• Preheat oven to 350°F.

Steps:

• Sift the flour and a little salt into a bowl. Set a non-stick pan on the heat with 150ml cold water and the chopped butter. Bring to the boil, stirring until the butter melts. Tip in all the flour and, using a wooden spoon, beat hard until the mix becomes smooth and starts to leave the side of the pan.
• Remove from the heat, beat in the gruyère and half the parmesan and cool for 5 mins. Gradually beat in the eggs until you have a smooth, thick, but spoonable mix - you may not need all the egg. Can be set aside now for 2 hrs without chilling.
• When ready to serve, heat the oil in a deep-fat frying pan to around 180C. Using 2 teaspoons scoop up neat dollops and carefully drop into the hot oil. Fry 6-8 dollops a time for 3-4 mins until golden and crisp - dunk the dollops under to brown evenly. Reheat the oil as necessary. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with the rest of the parmesan. Serve hot.

Steps:

• Stir together the mayonnaise, green onions, jalapenos, hot sauce, lemon juice, salt and red pepper in a medium bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
• Stir together hushpuppy mix and milk in a medium bowl.
• Pour oil into a large deep skillet to a depth of 1/2". Heat oil to 350*F. Dredge fish in flour then in hushpuppy mix.
• Place fish in oil and fry in batches 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden. Serve with sauce. Enjoy!

• Mix cream cheese spread and cheddar until blended.
• Flatten bread slices with rolling pin; spread with butter. Turn over; spread with cream cheese mixture. Roll up tightly. Cut in half. Roll, 1 piece at a time, in Parmesan until evenly coated. Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
• Bake 12 to 14 min. or until golden brown.
