Spicy Pretzels aka

Steps:

  • Put pretzels in a gallon resealable bag. Mix cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, ranch, and canola oil together. Pour over pretzels in baggie. It's best if you can leave overnight but a couple of hours will work, too. I always bag them the night before and cook them the next morning.
  • Spread out on a large baking sheet. Bake at 200 for 40 min.
  • .*** My husband likes a real kick to these, so I double the cayenne, lemon pepper, and garlic salt when mixing the spices... He LOVES them like that!!***

1 bag(s) pretzel sticks (16 oz)
1 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon(s) lemon pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 package(s) Hidden Valley ranch dry mix
3/4 cup(s) canola oil
- gallon Ziploc baggie

CHLOE'S SPICY PRETZELS (NO COOK)

These are great to bag up for gifts or to just have around for family snacks. The not so spicey version was a hit for the 2nd grade Christmas party and the little ones at the family gathering. The spicy version was a hit at the family Christmas gathering.

Steps:

  • Mix everything except pretzels in a large bowl(I use a big plastic salad bowl).
  • Just a pinch of cayenne for the little ones.
  • Pour pretzels in on top of the sauce. Stir until well coated. I just toss it like a salad.
  • Make sure all of the goodies are off of the bottom of the bowl and on the pretzels.
  • You can eat them right away, but they are less messy if you let them sit a bit while the pretzels absorb the oil.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic (use granules)
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
1 -1 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (16 ounce) bag pretzels (use small clover shaped or sticks, the big ones break when you stir)

CRACK PRETZELS - BET YOU CAN'T EAT JUST ONE

These are so addictive! I gave this recipe to some folks who now make 2 batches a week! This was given to me by Joyce, a co-worker. Note : Please use the large pretzels broken into pieces, these absorb the oil and flavor better then nuggets, or small twists. added: 10/29/08
