  • Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise; cover entire top of fish.

  • Bake about 25 to 30 minutes, uncovered.
  • Place under broiler until top turns brown.

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough into 2 large rectangles. Place in ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan press over bottom to form crust. Seal perforations.Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes or until light golden brown. Add almonds and sugar stir to coat. Spoon and spread mixture evenly over dough. Bake at 375°F. for 11 to 16 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown. Cool 30 minutes. Cut into squares. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the bowl of a food processor, combine flour, sugar, butter, and salt; process until mixture resembles coarse meal, 15 to 20 seconds. Add eggs one at a time, and process until dough just comes together.
  • Press dough into a 10-inch round tart pan with a removable bottom. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Sugar-Crusted Popovers image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F Liberally grease a nonstick popover pan, or a muffin tin with 1/2-cup indentations, with softened butter. (You need 9 molds.).
  • In a blender, combine 2 tbsp melted butter, eggs, milk, salt and sugar, and blend briefly. Add flour and blend until smooth, about 10 seconds.
  • Divide batter amongst the 9 prepared molds, filling each 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake in preheated oven 35 minutes, until deep brown. As soon as they're cool enough to handle, remove popovers from molds and set on a cooling rack. Use a small knife or spatula if they're stubborn.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Brush popovers all over with melted butter then coat with cinnamon sugar. Return to the rack to cool completely.
