Steps:
- In a blender, combine the juices, and the fresh sliced fruit and blend to puree. Strain if desired and place in a pitcher. Chill in the fridge for an hour or so.
- Serve in a large pitcher, over a bunch of crushed ice and decorated with mint leaves. Enjoy!
- The original recipe called for just placing the chunked papaya and mango in a bowl with the juices and serving as punch, but I like it pureed with the juices. Do it the way you like best.

- Chill-Out Honeydew Cucumber Slushy. High in B vitamins, cucumbers both cool and calm you. Consider this icy beverage the antidote to 2020. Pro tip: You can make it an hour ahead of time.
- Salted Watermelon Juice. This recipe is a genius way to use up the second half of that enormous summer watermelon you’ve been snacking on (or storing in your freezer!).
- Chile-Lime-Pineapple Soda. If you are a chile fan, you can sub in serranos or jalapeños for the chiles de árbol. You will get the flavor of the chile as opposed to just heat.
- Strawberry-Ginger Lemonade. This one-step(!) , non-alcoholic summer drink is the easiest route to your new favorite all-day hang beverage. Zingy ginger, sweet strawberries, and tart lemon—name a more iconic trio.
- Huckleberry Shrub. ‘Shrub’ is a very cute name for a tart drinking vinegar—and this one can be made with whatever berries you have on hand. Use it for everything from spritzers to ice cream floats.
- Chai Blossom. This is exactly the kind of season-straddling drink we turn to all year round: Warming chai spices, like cinnamon, cardamom, and star anise, meet zesty citrus and peppy club soda.
- Maple-Ginger Cider Switchel. A mocktail with secret wellness aspirations. As one Chicago-based reviewer writes: “I keep a small pitcher in the fridge at all times.
- Fermented Grape Soda. The ginger “bug,” which jump-starts the fermentation in this recipe from chef Cortney Burns of Bar Tartine in SF, specifically uses organic ginger because it’s rich in microbes.
- BA’s Best Lemonade. We may be biased but this is by far the best lemonade recipe we've tried. It can also be a base recipe for many types of drinks, should you wish to experiment.
- Turmeric Tonic. If golden milk is turmeric as a kid, then this tonic is her all grown up and ready to party. You can find fresh turmeric at specialty, Asian, and health food grocers.
