HOT CRANBERRY TEA

A sentimental favorite. My mother and I made it when I was 7 and it's been a part of our holiday tradition ever since. A fun recipe to make with the kids. A slow cooker will keep it warm while serving.

Hot Cranberry Tea image

Steps:

  • In a large pot, combine water and cranberries. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Cover, and steep for 1 hour.

Super Simple Cranberry Tea image

Steps:

  • Boil water in a medium saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add all tea bags.
  • Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and then cover and chill for 2 hours.
  • Transfer tea to a pitcher and stir in cranberry juice.
  • If desired garnish with mint leaves or fresh cranberries.
  • Chill remaining tea for up to 2 days.

  • Add cranberry juice, apple cider and spices.
  • Simmer gently for 5 mins with lid on pot.

  • Serve in mugs with a cinnamon stick in each.
