Found this one in the Calgary Herald and it has come in handy many times when I want to make something with sweetened condensed milk but have none on hand.

- Mix all in blender. This makes the equivalent of one 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk and may be substituted in any recipe.

Steps:
- 1. In microwave safe mixing bowl, combine dry milk and Splenda blend
- 2. Add the water
- 3. Mix well to combine using a wire whip.
- 4. Microwave on high for 45-60sec or till mixture is hot but not boiling.
- 5. Place bowl on counter and mix well .
- 6. Let set 5 mins .
- 7. Stir,cover,and refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.
- 8. Use in any recipe that calls for a can of sweetened condensed milk. . This will keep for up to two weeks in refrigerator if properly covered.
SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK SUBSTITUTE
I found this on ochef.com. According to them, recipes using dried (powdered) milk approximate the texture but not the flavor of true sweetened condensed milk, and the following recipe tastes much better. - 1. Add the liquids first, then the powders, cover and blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until smooth. Remove from the blender. Use in a recipe immediately or store in a covered container in the refrigerator
- 2. Tips: A food processor may also be used to blend the ingredients.
- 3. I've used this in most pies that called for a can of sweetened condensed milk and it worked fine. Works particularly well for Key Lime Pies.
