- Preheat air fryer to 375°. In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Add chicken and turn to coat. Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour or overnight., Drain chicken, discarding marinade. Combine remaining ingredients in a shallow dish and stir to combine. Add chicken, 1 piece at a time, and turn to coat. Place in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until a thermometer reads 170°, about 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Return all chicken to air fryer and cook to heat through, 2-3 minutes longer.

Steps:
- Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat.
- Combine paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken and toss until evenly covered.
- Preheat an air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Arrange chicken in the basket of the preheated air fryer in a single layer, not touching. Cook until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 12 minutes, turning halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). For crispier wings, increase temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

This is super and makes a juicy and delicious chicken. The basting mixture is a win and adds an excellent flavor to the crispy skin. You can modify this for a whole bird, you will need to add more cooking time and you are going to want to truss your chicken to make sure the legs and wings are tucked in. - Mix paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, marjoram, sage, pepper, and nutmeg together in a small bowl. Spread spice rub on all sides of chicken breasts and under the skin.
- Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions. Mix coconut oil, sherry, and lime juice together in a small bowl; set aside.
- Place chicken, breast-side down, in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes. Brush chicken with reserved basting oil. Flip chicken, reduce heat to 360 degrees F (182 degrees C), and cook for another 15 minutes. Baste chicken again with remaining oil and cook until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 6 to 12 more minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

It should separate fairly easily, but if not, put the blade in place, then carefully but firmly hit the top of your knife to apply extra pressure. Discard. Next, split the drumette side of each wing from the flat side at the joint: slice down through the skin feeling for the “soft spot” and wiggle your knife as needed.

- Prep the chicken wings. If full wings, separate them into drums and flats. Make sure they are defrosted. Pat them dry completely dry (this will help them get crispy).
