Watermelon Cosmo Recipes

Steps:

• Pour the vodka, watermelon puree, lime juice and Simple Syrup into a pitcher. Add to a punch bowl or a hollowed-out watermelon. Serve in punch glasses over ice and garnished with mint.
• Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Steps:

• Blend watermelon in a blender until smooth; strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard pulp. Pour strained watermelon juice, and vodka into a cocktail shaker filled with ice; strain into a glass. Squeeze lime juice into the cocktail.

• Remove the skin off the mini watermelon with a knife or vegetable peeler. Slice the watermelon pulp into 2" pieces. Place all of the pulp into a blender and blend until smooth. • To make watermelon juice: In a blender, whiz ¼ of a whole watermelon cut into chunks, then strain liquid through a sieve, discarding pulp, for watermelon juice.
• To make cosmo: Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
• Strain into 2 large chilled martini glasses.
• Garnish with a green melon ball, if you like.
