SAND CASTLE BROWNIE MIX
This is a great mix to give as gifts for the Holidays. Ingredients are layered in a quart-size canning jar which can be decorated.

Steps:
- In a 1 Qt glass canning jar, layer the first seven ingredients in the order listed, packing well between each layer.
- Cover and store in a cool dry place for up to six months.
- TO BAKE BROWNIES: In a bowl, combine eggs, oil, vanilla, and brownie mix; mix well.
- Spread into a greased 8 inch square pan.
- Bake@ 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
SAND ART BROWNIE MIX

- In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. In a 1-qt. glass container, layer flour mixture, brown sugar, sugar, cocoa, chips and pecans. Cover and store in a cool, dry place up to 6 months. Yield: 1 batch (about 4 cups total)., To prepare brownies: Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, oil and vanilla. Add brownie mix; stir until blended., Spread into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (do not overbake). Cool on a wire rack.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, cream the butter and eggs. Add the contents of the jar, and stir until well mixed. Pour the batter in a greased 13-x-9-inch baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are light brown in color. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
- To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tablespoons softened butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Stir until smooth. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
