Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place sausage links in the air fryer basket in one layer. You might need to work in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air-fry until sausages start to brown, 4 to 6 minutes. Flip sausage and air-fry until sausages are no longer pink in the center, an additional 3 to 5 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°. Place cheese in buns; top with sausages and giardiniera. Wrap individually in heavy-duty foil (about 12x10 in.). Place in a single layer in air fryer. Cook until heated through and cheese is melted, 8-10 minutes. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape. If desired, serve with additional giardiniera.

Steps:

  • Pierce the sausages a few times all over using a sharp knife (this is optional, but will help release more fat). Arrange the sausages in a single layer in an air fryer basket.
  • Set the air fryer to 180C and cook for 10-15 mins, turning every 5 mins, until the sausages are cooked through. If you have a meat thermometer, check they have reached 75C in the middle. Serve as a side for breakfast or in buns.

  • Cut bacon strips widthwise in half; cut sausage links in half. Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of sausage. Place 1/2 cup brown sugar in a shallow bowl; roll sausages in sugar. Secure each with a toothpick. Place in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. , Preheat air fryer to 325°. Sprinkle wrapped sausages with 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
