This is a super easy recipe to throw together and, with the addition of different vegetables, can make lots of variations.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and reserve.
- In a large skillet, heat oil and sausage; cook through until no longer pink. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, add onion and garlic to skillet. Add broth, basil and tomatoes with liquid.
- Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes to slightly reduce. Add chopped spinach; cover skillet and simmer on reduced heat until spinach is tender.
- Add pasta to skillet and mix together. Sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.

ONE-POT SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS PASTA RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: farfalle pasta, olive oil, hot italian sausages, sweet italian sausages, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, white onion, garlic, diced tomato, oregano, salt, black ground pepper

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil, add a generous amount of salt, and cook pasta 2 minutes less than the package instructions.
- Strain pasta and set aside. Toss with a small amount of oil to prevent sticking
- In the same pot, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and fry sausages, working in batches as needed, until deeply browned on all sides.
- Remove sausages, slice in ¾-inch (2 cm) rings, and set aside.
- Sauté all of the bell peppers, onion, and garlic for about 2 minutes.
- Add the canned tomatoes, all of the spices, and the sausage slices to the pot.
- Simmer about 10 minutes.
- Add the pasta back to the pot and stir gently until all the ingredients are coated in the sauce. Continue simmering until pasta is al dente.
- Serve with grated parmesan.
- Enjoy!

- Removed casing from sausage links and cut into 1/2 inch slices. In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat for about 10 minutes; remove and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat ground beef, olive oil, garlic and onion over medium heat until meat is nicely browned; drain.

- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water, and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Stir in the shell pasta, and return to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but still firm to the bite, about 13 minutes. Drain well.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onion, orange pepper, and garlic in oil until tender, about 5 minutes. - Heat the olive oil in a heavy-based pan (preferably not non-stick) and add the sausages. Fry for about 8 mins until golden and cooked through. Tip in the garlic and fry for 1 min. Pour in the white wine and boil until it has reduced by half.
- Stir in the tomato purée and tomatoes, and season to taste. Simmer for 15 mins until the sauce is rich and thick.
- While the sauce cooks, boil the pasta according to pack instructions and drain. Stir in the basil if using, and cooked pasta into the sauce, then serve in bowls with grated or shaved Parmesan.

- Cook onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until softened.
- Add flour and cook for about three minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add milk, chicken broth, sausage, grape tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, pesto and salt and pepper. Stir constantly until sauce thickens.
- Once sauce thickens, add cheese and stir until melted and heated through.

BROCCOLI N' TOMATO PASTA
This is a great, light pasta dish with very little oil. Please note to adjust the cooking time if using pasta other than spaghetti. I often omit the olives due to a daughter that doesn't like them and it's still fabulous. You can also adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your liking. Another variation is to use cherry tomatoes, halved instead of regular tomatoes. My family really enjoys this dish, hope you do too!!

- Boil pasta in salted water to taste. We like al dente. Drain. Add butter and stir to keep pasta from sticking.
- Cut tomatoes in half and gently squeeze out the seeds.
- Cook bacon to half crisp; drain off grease. Crumble bacon into small pieces. Add tomatoes, bacon, and cheese to pasta. Stir in a small teaspoon of bacon grease.
