- Spoon 1/3 of the COOL WHIP (about 1 cup) into each of 3 medium microwaveable bowls. Add chocolate and jam to COOL WHIP in one bowl, caramels to COOL WHIP in second bowl, and marshmallow creme and cream cheese to COOL WHIP in remaining bowl.
- Microwave, 1 bowl at a time, on HIGH 1 min.; stir. Continue to microwave 1 to 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate or caramels are completely melted and dips are well blended, stirring every 30 sec. Pour into 3 serving bowls.
- Cut each apple into 12 slices. Serve with dips.

COOKED APPLES WITH A TWIST
I have an excess of applies, so thought I'd try this combination of ingredients. Sliced apples cooked with a combination of milk, brown sugar,cinnamon, peanut butter and Heath candy chips (for cookies). A nice recipe to serve with sausage links and scrambled eggs , and a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese, or with pancakes. The sauce is good to dip the sausage links in. .

- Place the milk in a saucepan first, then the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook until apples are to your desired doneness. These ingredients are a guess. I put too much sugar in, so next time I will cut down on that.

- Combine all ingredients except apple slices in a saucepan, stir until smooth, and heat until scalding, watching to make sure it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Transfer dip to slow cooker, if needed, cook on low for 20 minutes.
- If not transferring, simmer on stovetop for 5-10 minutes.
- While the dip is warming, slice the apples and place on a serving plate.
- Serve the dip from the cooker, while turned on low to keep it creamy, or from bowls.

- For cinnamon-sugar crisps, on a lightly floured surface, roll pastry to 1/8-in. thickness. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over pastry. Cut with floured 2-1/2-in. Halloween-shaped cookie cutters. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 425° for 4-6 minutes or until lightly browned. APPLE DIP (IT'S NOT JUST FOR APPLES ANYMORE)
I love this dip, possibly more than caramel dip! HOWEVER, it seems I have limited it's possibilities by implying that it should be reserved for apples solely from the recipe's title. That is not the case!! WHY should you try this dip? Well the marshmallow and cream cheese dip is great, but I believe it's the cinnamon that really sets it apart!! I think you could put the ingredients on a long list of things, but I'll let you use your own creativity for that. I prefer it with very tart apples, such as Northern Spy or Granny Smith, but have used it with all sorts since dh likes sweet and softer apples. It is very good and very easy and can be prepared in advance, such as for parties.
