Steps:

  • Mix all the ingredients (except the potato chips and seafood cocktail sauce).
  • Mix well, cover and chill for 1 hour.
  • Using about a rounded teaspoon for each, roll the mixture into 36 balls.
  • Roll the balls in the crushed potato chips.
  • Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Place balls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until hot and golden Serve with seafood cocktail sauce on the side or some other sauce of your choice.

Crab Meat Puff Balls image

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl combine crab, celery, onion, hard boiled eggs, chili sauce, and parsley. Mix well and refrigerate.
  • 2. To make the puffs - Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, add 1 stick of butter and stir until melted. Slowly add flour, a little at a time until the dough forms a ball. Allow the mixture to cool. In a separate bowl beat 4 eggs thoroughly. Stir beaten eggs into flour mixture, mix well.
  • 3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking sheet and drop flour/egg mixture by the teaspoon full onto the baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and allow the puffs to cool.
  • 4. Slice each puff in half and fill with the crab mixture.

1 lb canned crabmeat, flaked
1/2 c celery, finely chopped
1/2 c sweet onions, finely chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Place crab meat in a mixing bowl and pick out any stray shell fragments.
  • 2. Add crushed crackers, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley to the crab.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, combine egg, mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Whip with a whisk until smooth.
  • 4. Pour egg mixture over the crab meat and crackers. Gently mix, careful not to break up large lumps of crab meat.
  • 5. Mold into golfball-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • 7. Drizzle with melted butter and allow to cool. Serve with saltine crackers. Enjoy delicious baked crab balls!

  • Remove all excess shell from crabmeat
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, butter, green onions, old bay seasoning and horseradish. while mixing gradually add crabmeat. Divide mixture into two balls.
