APPLE BREAD
I got this apple quick bread recipe a long time ago and with a few changes it's become one of our favorites. Everyone who's ever tasted this apple bread has asked for the recipe! -Phyllis Herlocker, Farlington, Kansas

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Line 2 greased 8x4-in. loaf pans with parchment; grease paper., Whisk together first 6 ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, oil and vanilla; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened (batter will be thick). Fold in apples and walnuts. , Transfer to prepared pans. Bake until a toothpick inserted in each center comes out clean, 50-55 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool.Freeze option: Securely wrap cooled loaves in plastic and foil, then freeze. To use, thaw at room temperature.

- 1. 1. Grease 2 9x5 loave pans, place wax paper to fit on the bottoms.
- 2. 2. In a large bowl combine apples with 2 cups sugar; set aside.
- 3. 3. Melt butter and allow to cool.
- 4. 4. In a bigger bowl sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder; set aside.
- 5. 5. With butter cooled, combine with apples,along with eggs and vanilla.
- 6. 6. Mix flour mixture with apple mixture. DO NOT OVER MIX.
- 7. 7. Divide batter among the 2 pans; sprinkle each with 1 tsp sugar.
- 8. 8. Bake in a preheated 325 oven F. 1 hr and 15 minutes to 1 hr and 30 minutes. Use tooth pick to test for doneness. Cool on wire rack 1 hr then remove from pans and cool completely. Wait 2-4 hours before slicing. Will remain at room temperature and wrapped in foil for 4 days, longer in refrigerator.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Butter and flour three 9″ x 4″ loaf pans; or line with parchment paper so that edges overhang.
- Place pumpkin in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, honey, butter and milk until blended.
- Add cane sugar and beat well.
- In a smaller bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
- Stir into the pumpkin mixture and beat well at medium speed for three to four minutes.
- Peel and dice the apples; stir into batter.
- Pour evenly into prepared loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees 40 t0 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
- Cool in pans 10 minutes.
- Loosen with sharp knife and invert pans onto baking sheet.
- Serve warm or cool and store. Freezes well.
- 3 Loaves.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. In another bowl, whisk eggs, applesauce, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apples. Transfer to two greased 8x4-in. loaf pans., For topping, combine flour, sugar and walnuts; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter., Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 45-55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

Soooo yummy! Everyone will beg for seconds. This bread makes your entire house smell like heaven, so bake it right before you have guests over. Sometimes I like to double the topping and push some into the bread batter. Also, I use Rome apples when I make this. Splat!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Beat 1/2 cup softened butter with 1/2 cup white sugar and sucralose sweetener in a bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs, applesauce, vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice until smooth.
- Mix 2 cups flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl; stir into butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk until just combined. Fold in chopped and shredded apples and walnuts. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
