Pour chocolate topping into crust; freeze for 5 minutes or until chocolate is firm. , Meanwhile, place bananas in a small bowl; toss with lemon juice. Arrange bananas over chocolate topping. Layer with pineapple topping, ice cream, whipped topping and walnuts. , Cover and freeze until firm. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before cutting. Garnish with chocolate syrup and cherries.

Steps:

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool completely., Meanwhile, melt the remaining butter; toss with cookie crumbs. Press into a greased 13x9-in. pan. Freeze for 15 minutes. Arrange banana slices over crust; spread with 1 quart ice cream. Top with 1 cup chocolate sauce. Freeze for 1 hour. Refrigerate remaining chocolate sauce. Spread the remaining ice cream over dessert; top with pineapple, cherries and pecans. Cover and freeze overnight. , Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Reheat the chocolate sauce. Cut dessert into squares; if desired, serve with whipped topping and chocolate sauce.

Banana Split Freezer Jam image

Steps:

Mix exactly 2 cups crushed strawberries and 1/2 cup mashed bananas in large bowl.
Stir in sugar and lemon juice; let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add chocolate syrup; mix well.
Mix water and pectin in small saucepan.
Bring to boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling and stirring 1 minute.
Add to fruit mixture; stir 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
(A few sugar crystals may remain.) Fill clean plastic containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
Jam is now ready to use.
Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze extra containers up to 1 year.
Thaw in refrigerator before using.

In a small bowl, combine crumbs and melted butter. Set aside 1/2 cup; press remaining crumbs into a 15x10x 1-in. pan. Slice bananas width-wise, and layer over crust. Cut ice cream width-wise into ten slices; place over bananas. Spread edges of ice cream to cover banana slices, and form a smooth layer. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover and freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
In a large saucepan, melt chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. Pour over ice cream; freeze until firm, another hour.
In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form; add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix. OPTIONAL to use 2 cups Cool Whip (don't add powdered sugar or vanilla.)
Spread over chocolate layer. Top with reserved crumbs. Store in freezer (will keep for several weeks).
