ORANGE CHOCOLATE CHIP SCONES

- Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, whisk the first 5 ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in chocolate chips. In another bowl, mix milk, orange zest and extract until blended; stir into flour mixture just until moistened., Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 10 times. Divide dough in half. Pat each portion into an 8-in. circle. Cut each into 8 wedges. Place wedges on a greased baking sheet., In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Lightly brush scones with cream; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

- Heat oven to 425°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir Bisquick mix, 1/4 cup sugar, the apricots and orange peel until mixed. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the egg. Stir in remaining egg and the whipping cream until soft dough forms.
- Place dough on surface sprinkled with Bisquick mix; roll in Bisquick mix to coat. Shape into a ball; knead 10 times. On cookie sheet, press or roll dough into 8-inch round. Brush with reserved egg. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and the almonds. Cut into 8 wedges, but do not separate.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes. Carefully separate wedges. Serve warm.

- Heat oven to 400°F. Mix the baking mix, raisins, 1/3 cup sugar and 3 of the eggs until moistened. Turn the dough onto a surface well dusted with baking mix and roll lightly in the baking mix to coat. Roll the dough into 9 inch circle, cut into 12 wedges with knife dusted with baking mix. Place the wedges alternating wide and narrow ends, about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Beat the remaining egg and brush over the tops of the wedges. Sprinkle with sugar. - Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease with cooking spray.
- Mix flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter using a pastry cutter. Mix in orange zest.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Whisk orange juice, egg, and vinegar together and pour into the flour mixture. Stir until moistened and sticky.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead gently about 10 times. Pat into a 6x8-inch rectangle. Cut rectangle into 4 squares; cut each square diagonally into 8 triangles. Arrange scones on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with milk and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Make the orange glaze while the scones are baking. Mix 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar and orange juice until thick and smooth; glaze should drip slowly off the back of a spoon. Mix in orange zest.
- Dunk warm scones in the glaze to fully coat the tops. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
