BLT SALAD WITH RANCH

BLT Salad with Ranch image

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Reserve 2 tablepsoons of the bacon fat.
  • 2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • 3. Toss bread cubes with bacon fat, thyme, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until golden, 12-15 minutes, shaking the pan once.
  • 4. Place arugula and frisée in a bowl.

1/2 pound slab bacon, cut into 1x1/4-inch pieces
4 cups cubed (1 inch) French bread
1 teaspoon dried thyme
4 cups baby arugula
4 cups frisée
4 ripe tomatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives
1/2 cup prepared ranch dressing

Steps:

  • Bake crust according to instructions. Cool completely.
  • Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup ranch dressing & garlic.
  • Spread evenly over crust.
  • Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, olives, onion & bacon.
  • Drizzle with remaining dressing.
  • Serve!

2 cups iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced

Low Carb BLT Pizza image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Add the mozzarella and cream cheese to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir to combine and return to microwave until cheese has melted, about 30 more seconds.
  • Stir in the almond flour, egg, salt, and Italian seasoning to combine.
  • Place the dough on a large sheet of parchment paper. Top with a second sheet of parchment.
  • Roll the dough out into a 12 inch diameter circle.
  • Remove the top piece of parchment and transfer the bottom sheet with the dough on it to a pizza pan.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and spread with the mayonnaise. Sprinkle on the lettuce, tomatoes, bacon.

Deep Dish BLT Pizza image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Separate one package of bread stick dough into strips. Arrange strips in a spiral pattern to completely line the bottom of a 3" deep baking dish. Roll dough to seal seams.
  • Slice remaining package of dough lengthwise. Lay each half, flat side down, and slice crosswise into 12 half moons for a total of 24 pieces. Form a decorative edge by arranging pieces of dough next to each other, standing on end, against sides of dish. Roll to seal bottom edge of dough to base.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over dough. Coarsely chop turkey; place in small bowl. Add bacon and green onions; mix well. Spread turkey mixture over cheese.
  • Slice tomatoes into 1/4" thick slices; arrange over filling. Sprinkle w/ remaining cheese.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Remove pizza from oven; let stand 10 minutes.
  • Arrange lettuce around outer edge of pizza. Drizzle w/ ranch dressing.

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, basil, garlic powder and onion powder; refrigerate for 1/2 hour or more.
  • Place the pizza crust on an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan.
  • Spread mayonnaise mixture over crust.
  • Set aside 1/4 cup bacon.
  • Sprinkle remaining bacon, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese on crust.
  • Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted. If doing a homemade crust, I bake mine at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
  • Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and reserved bacon.
  • Cut into wedges and serve. Enjoy!
