- Line a 5x7-inch dish with foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Place chocolate chips in a glass bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and keep microwaving at 15-second intervals, stirring each time until chocolate is melted. Add sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, vanilla, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated. Stir in pecans.
- Pour fudge into the lined dish and let set, 2 to 3 hours. Lift out of the dish using the foil overhang and cut into 24 squares.

- Grease and line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment. Put the sugar, condensed milk and butter in a large heatproof bowl (the mixture will bubble up as it cooks to roughly double its size), add a good pinch of salt and stir together.
- Heat the mixture in the microwave on High for 10 mins, stirring every 2-3 mins. Keep an eye on the mixture, as it will bubble up and may go over the sides of the bowl.
- Add the vanilla and liqueur to the mixture, whisk together and heat on High for another 2 mins. The mixture should be caramel-coloured and thickened. Scrape into the tin and set aside for 45 mins to 1 hr until cool and firm before cutting. Pack into a box and eat within 3 weeks.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Butter 2 x 150ml dariole moulds, scatter in the flaked almonds so they stick to the base and sides and put on a small baking tray. Beat the butter, sugar, egg, flour, ground almonds and cocoa powder together, then divide between the moulds. Bake for 20-25 mins until a skewer comes out clean.
- Meanwhile, for the sauce, melt all the ingredients in a small pan and keep warm.
- Carefully turn the cakes out of their moulds and sit on 2 plates (the same way up as they baked). Serve with vanilla ice cream, the hot chocolate sauce, espressos and a splash more Disaronno.
