- Make the pecan bourbon crust by mixing dry ingredients (pecans, brown sugar, and flour).
- Step 2.
- Add wet ingredients (melted butter and bourbon) and mix well.
- Step 3.
- Top the brie with crust and bake in oven at 400 degree F until bubbly, about 10 minutes.
- Step 4.
- Serve with apple slices and/or crackers.

BOURBON PECAN BRIE

- 1. Cut the rind off one side of the wheel of brie and place in a pie plate or cake pan (the tighter the better). 2. Combine bourbon and sugar and pour over top of brie. 3. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. You want the cheese soft and the sauce bubbly. 4. Serve with the bread, apples and crackers.
RYE WHISKEY BRIE
This mix of baked brie topped with brown sugar, pecans, and rye whiskey is too good for words. You could use any other type of whiskey, such as bourbon. Serve with crackers.

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cut slits about 1/4-inch deep in a crossing pattern across the top and along the sides of the Brie wheel. Place the brie in a baking dish.
- Bake the Brie in the preheated oven until softened, about 5 minutes.
- While the Brie bakes, stir the brown sugar, pecans, and whiskey in a small bowl; pour onto the top of the Brie and return to the oven another 10 minutes. Serve immediately.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cheese on a rimmed baking sheet; bake until softened, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate; cool about 20 minutes.
- While cheese cools, place nuts on a clean baking sheet; bake until toasted and fragrant, 7 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle nuts over cheese.
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and maple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer until foamy, 1 to 2 minutes. Drizzle warm sauce over slightly cooled cheese and nuts; serve with crackers or baguette.
