GRILLED JUICY BURGERS

Steps:
- Heat gas or charcoal grill. Beat egg in large bowl. Add all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well. Shape mixture into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
- Place patties on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F.
- If desired, toast cut sides of buns during last minute of cooking time. Serve patties in toasted buns with desired condiments.

PIZZA BURGERS
This was always one of my favorite school cafeteria lunches. I loved them, and so do my kids. Quick and tasty..brings back childhood memories...

- 1. Start by adding the onions and a drizzle of canola or vegetable oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Heat through. Add the ground beef and cook all the way through,. Once the meat is cooked,add chopped pepperoni, add the tomato soup, water and pizza seasoning. Reduce to low and let simmer.
- 2. While the meat and sauce are simmering, preheat the oven on broil and spread the butter evenly on each English muffin half. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Pop these under the broiler on a cookie sheet for about 2 minutes or until they begin to brown just on the edges.
- 3. Take out of the oven and top each English muffin with about 1/4 cup of the meat and sauce mixture. Top each of those with the cheese. Place back under the broiler for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown and bubbly. Enjoy!
DOG' N SUDS GRILLED PIZZA BURGERS
Brings me back to the days of carhopping at the Dog 'n Suds back in Chicago! As with pizza, you can also add sliced mushrooms, etc. (If it is not grilling season, these burgers can be broiled on broiling pan sprayed with a little nonstick spray.)

- Combine meat in a large bowl with Parmesan cheese, onion, green pepper, garlic salt, pepper and oregano. If a more garlicky flavor is desired, add 1/8 teaspoons garlic powder to this mixture.
- Add 1/2 to 1 6-oz. can tomato paste to meat mixture to consistency you desire for patties. Shape into 8 patties. (If you put in too much paste, just add some bread crumbs to get the right consistency.).
- Grill over medium hot coals on one side until brown. Turn over and top with cheese slices. Cook until cheese is melted.
- Serve with tomato slices on hamburger buns with dill pickle spears and potato chips or fries. (We like to grill the buns first.).
- Enjoy!

- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Mix meat, panko crumbs, 2 Tbsp. pizza sauce, Italian seasoning and onion powder just until blended; shape into 4 (3/4-inch-thick) patties.
- Grill 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (160°F). Top burgers with cheese and place rolls, cut sides down, on grill grate; grill 1 min. or until cheese is melted and rolls are lightly toasted.
- Meanwhile heat remaining pizza sauce. Fill rolls with cheeseburgers; serve with pizza sauce.

- Combine beef, tomato paste, salt, sugar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, and oregano in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate to let flavors marry, about 4 hours.
- Form beef mixture into 8 thin patties. Place 1 slice of mozzarella cheese on each of 4 patties; leave at least a 1/2-inch border, breaking up the cheese as needed. Place remaining patties on top and pinch edges to seal in the cheese.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Fry burgers until browned and centers reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), 6 to 7 minutes per side. Serve on buns.
