CANTALOUPE GIN FIZZ

Cantaloupe Gin Fizz image

Steps:

  • Fill a glass with ice. Add the cantaloupe syrup and gin and stir for 10 to 15 seconds. Top with a splash of seltzer and stir once again. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
  • Add the cantaloupe, lime zest and juice to a high-powered blender. Blend on high until smooth. Strain liquid into a measuring cup. Stir in agave.

Ice cubes
2 ounces Cantaloupe Syrup (see recipe below)
2 ounces gin
Lime-flavored seltzer
A fresh mint sprig for garnish, optional
2 cups roughly chopped ripe cantaloupe
1 tablespoon lime zest and 4 tablespoon lime juice, from 2 to 3 limes
1 tablespoon agave syrup

CANTALOUPE FIZZ

A delicious blended ice drink of cantaloupe and gin. This made me one BIG all night drink but divide into 2 or 4 as desired. Of course you can adjust everything to your liking and blender size. Make sure to use the juiciest and ripest fruit you can get.

Steps:

  • Combine the cantaloupe, gin, sugar and ice in a blender, and blend until the ice is smooth. You may need to do two batches if your blender is small. Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.
