CHEDDAR ENGLISH MUFFINS

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add water and oil; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add egg and vinegar; beat on high for 2 minutes. Stir in cheese and enough remaining flour to form a stiff dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until dough is smooth and no longer sticky, about 2 minutes., Roll dough to about 1/2-in. thickness. Cut with a 3-in. round cutter. Roll scraps if desired. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cornmeal. Place muffins on pans; sprinkle with remaining cornmeal. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour., Heat an ungreased griddle or electric skillet to 325°. Cook muffins for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, turning every 5 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Split with a fork and toast if desired.

Steps:
- Mix the Old English Cheddar Cheese, crabmeat, garlic powder and butter together in a mixing bowl. Salt to taste.
- Spread the mixture over 6 english muffin halves.
- Place coated English muffins in the freezer until firm.
- Cut each english muffin half into 12 approximately equal pieces.
- Place in a ziplock bag and freeze until cooked or cook immediately.
- To cook: Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place the pieces on the cookie sheet cheese side up.
- Broil for 10-15 minutes or until the top is brown/ bubbly.

Living near the Cheasapeake bay, my family eats a ton of seafood. I credit this recipe to my aunt whom made these on Thanksgiving. I made these for the first time for a football party and everyone enjoyed them.

Steps:
- Pre-heat broiler.
- In a large bowl mix together crab meat and cheese whiz.
- Crunch up the French's Fried Onions, add into bowl, and mix with cheesy crab meat.
- Add in some Old Bay (your preference as to how much).
- Split English Muffins in half and set them on a large cookie sheet that can hold them all.
- Put the same amount of cheesy crab mix on each English Muffin half and spread evenly.
- Can sprinkly more Old Bay on top of Cheesy Crab muffin if you want.
- Put the cookie sheet into the oven to broil for 5 minutes or until the mixture starts to brown.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Mix together the first 5 ingredients.
- Slice muffins in half horizontal.
- Spread each muffin half with the cheeze/crab mixture.
- Place under broiler and brown (WATCH CAREFULLY SO IT DOESN'T BURN).
- Cut each muffin half into quarters when cool enough to handle.
- (I keep a bag of these in the freezer for when unexpected guests show up. Just broil as instructed above, place on a cookie sheet to freeze, then transfer to freezer bags. When guests arrive, place in microwave to heat up and then serve).
