Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large baking dish, mix together potatoes, soup and sour cream. Mix in cheese and butter. Salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Top the mixture with potato chips.
- Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the mixture is bubbly and lightly brown.
- Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before serving.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Slice the potatoes very thin.
- Place half of the sliced potatoes in a oiled 2 quart casserole dish.
- Place half of the sliced onions on the next layer.
- On top of that sprinkle half of the salt, pepper, and dried parsley.
- Now place a layer of 1/2 cup of your cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the last four steps (3-6) making another layer of each.
- Cover the dish and bake 15 min or until potatoes are tender.
BEST EVER CHEESY POTATOES
This is a super simple recipe but it is super delicious. We make this for every familiy holiday and it never fails to disappear. This recipe does make super buttery potatoes, so if that isn't what you want you really should cut down on the butter.

- Coat a large skillet thoroughly with nonstick spray. Over medium heat, heat potatoes for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently and sprinkling generously with no-salt seasoning. - Preheat oven to 350°. Place potatoes in a Dutch oven; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, until tender, 8-12 minutes. Drain. Cool slightly., In a large bowl, mix soup, onion dip, milk, sour cream, parsley, salt and pepper; gently fold in potatoes and cheese. - Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
- Coat one side of a piece of aluminum foil large enough to hold all the potatoes and vegetables with cooking spray. Place the potatoes, onion, and green bell pepper in the center of the foil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Then place small pats of the butter or margarine over the vegetables.
- Carefully seal all the edges of the foil around the vegetables to form a packet. (Note: Double wrapping will help to prevent burning.)
- Place packet on the preheated grill, and grill for 20 minutes. Turn packet, and grill for 10 more minutes.

- Take hash browns out of freezer, keep in bag, set aside.
- In microwave, melt 1 stick of butter in large bowl; mix in sour cream, cheese and cream of chicken soup.
- In 9x13 pan (sprayed with Pam), spread hash browns. Spread sour cream, cheese, and soup mixture on top.
- Melt 1/2 stick of butter on stovetop, mix in corn flakes, stir (smash them a little too) until butter is absorbed. You may need/want to add more corn flakes.
- Sprinkle corn flakes on top of sour cream, cheese and soup mixture.
- Bake 1 hour at 350.
