Steps:

  • Line an 8-in. square pan with foil; butter the foil. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chips; stir until smooth. Beat in frosting and extract until smooth. Pour into prepared pan., Randomly place drops of food coloring over fudge; cut through fudge with a knife to swirl. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm before cutting into squares.

Easy Microwave Cherry Almond Fudge image

Steps:

  • Place sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl.
  • Cook on high for three minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Cook another minute or more, until blended and creamy.
  • Cooking time will vary by microwave.
  • Add cherry juice, extract, and cherries.
  • Cook two more minutes.
  • Remove from microwave and add nuts if desired.
  • Line a 8 x 8 inch pan with foil.
  • Butter foil.
  • Add fudge mixture.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Remove foil from fudge and cut into 1 inch cubes.
  • Keep in cool place.

1/3 cup of chopped maraschino cherry
2 tablespoons maraschino juice
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup pecans or 3/4 cup walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Place chocolate chips and condensed milk in a med saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in cherries and vanilla.
  • Chill 30 minutes.
  • Divide mixture in half, place each portion on a 20in piece of waxed paper.
  • Shape each piece into a 12in log.
  • Press walnuts onto log.
  • Wrap tightly, chill 2 hrs or until firm.
  • Remove waxed paper and cut into 1/4in slices.
  • Store in fridge.
