  • In a large pot with boiling salted water cook rigatoni pasta until al dente. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, blanch broccoli florets in a medium size saucepan, remove with slotted spoon. In same pan saute the minced garlic and pesto sauce in the olive oil for 2 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes and set aside.

  • In a large saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons butter; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk and broth; bring to a boil. Boil and stir for 2 minutes. Whisk half into eggs; return all to pan.   • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter the bottom and sides of a 9x13-inch dish.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add chicken and continue to boil until no longer pink, 5 to 10 minutes.

  • Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until almost tender, drain.
  • Mix soup and milk, add to noodles and season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • Combine soy sauce and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in a glass bowl or zip-top bag. Add chicken; stir to coat. Remove all air from baggie before sealing, or cover the bowl. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
