The Greatest Rubbed Wings image

Steps:

  • Combine wings and cola in a large bowl. Place in the fridge to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Mix sazon seasoning, mustard, cayenne pepper, seafood seasoning, celery salt, brown sugar, and BBQ seasoning together for the rub.
  • Drain wings and discard cola. Mix wings thoroughly with 1/2 cup hot sauce, then toss in the rub to coat.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C). Grease a broiler pan with cooking spray.
  • Bake wings in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Flip and continue baking until crispy, about 20 minutes more. Toss wings with the remaining hot sauce and return to the oven for 5 more minutes.

1 (1.41 ounce) package sazon seasoning (such as Goya®)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon celery salt
1 tablespoon light brown sugar, or to taste
1 tablespoon BBQ seasoning (such as McCormick®), or to taste

Steps:

  • Position racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees.
  • Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and lightly oil. Mix the chili powder, cumin, Coriander, cloves, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 3/4 teaspoon of pepper into a bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat.
  • Spread the wings, spaced apart,on the prepared baking sheets. Bake, turning once, until browned and crisp, about 40 minutes.

Steps:

  • Mix oil, seasonings and 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce until blended; rub onto wings. Place in large bowl. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Heat grill to medium-high heat. Grill wings 20 min. or until done, turning occasionally and brushing with remaining barbecue sauce for the last 5 min.

Crisp Chicken Wings with Chili-Lime Butter image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Rinse the wings under cool water and pat dry. Put them in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and season well with salt and pepper. Toss to coat with the seasoning. Then spread the wings out on a baking sheet and roast about 25 minutes until the skin gets crisp and brown, and the meat is tender.
  • While you wait, throw the butter, red curry paste honey and soy sauce into a blender. Season with salt and puree. Scrape into a big bowl. When the wings come out of the oven put add to the bowl with the curry butter. Squeeze the juice of the lime over the wings. Give it a toss and you're done. Garnish with cilantro.

Steps:

  • Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat.
  • Combine paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken and toss until evenly covered.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Arrange chicken in the basket of the preheated air fryer in a single layer, not touching. Cook until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 12 minutes, turning halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). For crispier wings, increase temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
