CREAMY SEAFOOD STUFFED SHELLS

Creamy Seafood Stuffed Shells image

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta according to package. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, saute green pepper and onion in 1 teaspoon butter until tender and set aside.
  • 2. In a large bowl, combine the crab, shrimp, egg, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning, pepper and green pepper mixture.
  • 3. Drain and rinse pasta then stuff each shell with 1 rounded tablespoon of seafood mixture. Place in a greased 13x9 baking dish.
  • 4. In a small saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and coarsely ground pepper; gradually whisk in remaining milk. Bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  • 5. Pour over stuffed shells. Sprinkle with remaining seafood seasoning. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30-35 minutes.

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. Cool to room temperature., In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper and cayenne. Gently stir in the crab, shrimp and onions. Steps:

  • Cook shells according to package directions. Place in cold water to stop cooking. Drain.
  • Mix together cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, and garlic powder. Rub the dried herbs in the palms of your hands to pulverize them, and stir into the cheese mixture. Stuff mixture into the shells.
  • Spread 1/3 of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 15 x 10 inch pan. Place shells open side up, and close together in pan. Spread remaining sauce over top, and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 35 minutes, or until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
