- In 2 large bowls, combine the pretzels, Bugles, cashews and crackers. Sprinkle with dressing mix; toss gently to combine. Drizzle with oil; toss until well coated. Store in airtight containers.

- 1. Combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal and SUNSHINE CHEEZ-IT crackers in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set aside.2. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.3. Bake at 250° F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:1. In large microwave safe glass mixing bowl, combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal and SUNSHINE CHEEZ-IT crackers. Set aside.2. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over cereal mixture. - Pour oil over mixture.
- Seal bag and toss to coat.

This is similar to the Chex mix but I actually like it a little better. The original recipe calls for garlic and onion salt instead of powder and salted nuts, but I find that too salty.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan in oven. Remove from oven and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add cereal, nuts, and pretzels stirring until coated.
- Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
- Microwave directions combine ingredients as above, placing in a glass container and microwave on full power 4 minutes stirring after 2 minute
- Cool as above.
RANCH SNACK MIX
Yummy variation on party mix. For garlic and dill lovers. You can substitute Chex corn or rice cereal for the Crispix - I decide between Chex and Crispix based on what's on sale. NOTE: Based on feedback received, in Jan. 09 I reduced the amount of garlic powder to 1/2 tsp. It is still plenty of garlic flavor but not as overpowering. :)

- In a large microwaveable bowl, mix cereal, crackers and pretzels. Set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour seasoning mixture over cracker mixture, stirring as you pour. Mix well.
- Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Gently stir the mixture. Microwave on high 1 more minute.
- Spread on paper towels to dry and cool. Store in an airtight container (if there are any leftovers!).
