SIMPLE CROCK POT CHICKEN AND POTATOES
This is an extremely easy recipe for perfect crock pot chicken and potatoes. It smells wonderful and it's great to come home to a ready meal that only took 10 minutes to prepare. The chicken falls apart and the potatoes practically melt in your mouth! The potatoes cook in the juices from the chicken, so there's no need to season. They have great flavor. Add a vegetable as a side and you're good to go!

Steps:
- Season both sides of the chicken to taste.
- Put sliced potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot. Put the chicken on top and cover.
- Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours.

A different blend of seasonings make a wonderfully easy dinner to come home to. I made this with ingredients I had in my fridge and since it turned out so well and my family enjoyed it I decided to post.

Steps:
- Slice potatoes and rinse under cold water.
- In a small bowl melt butter, combine with lemon herb seasoning, minced garlic and cubed brie. Toss potatoes in butter mixture. Add to crock pot.
- In a frying pan brown chicken thighs. Place on top of potatoes.
- Mix cream of chicken soup with chicken broth. Pour over chicken and potatoes.
- Sprinkle real bacon bits over all.
- Cook for 1hr on high. Reduce temperature to low setting and cook for 4-5 hours more.
- Using slotted spoon ladle chicken and potatoes onto plate -- enjoy.

- Chop potatoes, place in bottom of crock pot.
- Slice one small onion, put on top of potatoes.
- Add raw, skinless chopped chicken pieces.
- Mix can of cream of chicken soup with ½ can of water.
- Pour over potatoes, onions and chicken.
- Cook for 8 hours or until done.

- Place peppers in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; top with potatoes. Sprinkle paprika over chicken. Place 4 thighs in slow cooker; cover with soup and remaining thighs. Cover with lid.

GARLIC CHICKEN AND POTATOES (CROCK POT)
This dish smells wonderful while it's cooking. It will bring your family running at dinner time. This may get dry in the crock pot after awhile. So I recommend adding about one or two cups of chicken stock to barely cover the chicken while it cooks.

- Cut potatoes into chunks and put in crock pot Place chicken on top Mince garlic and sprinkle on top of chicken Mix honey and butter together.
- I recommend you heat the honey a little so it is easy to work with.
- Spread the honey and butter mixture over the chicken.
- Sprinkle lemon pepper on top of all of it.
- Turn crock pot on low and cook for 6-7 hours.

- Prep ingredients: Mix together chicken seasoning. In a small bowl, stir together 1 teaspoon sea salt, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Season chicken on both sides with remaining 1 teaspoon sea salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Place potatoes in the bottom of 6 qt. slow cooker. (Cut in half if necessary, if they are bigger than 4-5 inches long)
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken, skin side down first for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Cook in batches if necessary.
- While chicken is searing, dot butter over potatoes and sprinkle with ½ of the dried seasoning mix.

- Place 2 tablespoons of the butter, chives, lemon zest, and 1/2 teaspoon of the salt in a small bowl and mash together until completely combined; set aside.
- Arrange potatoes in a single layer in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. Scatter the garlic cloves over the potatoes.
