EASY BAKED APPLES
This comes from my Hungry Girl cookbook, these are my personal changes - i prefer slicing the apples before baking, and i also use Gala apples (since that's what I normally eat), and i used enough soda to cover the apples (more than 12 oz.), so adapt to your preferences :-)

EASY APPLE CAKE
After testing many apple cake recipes with fresh apples, this old-fashioned cake is moist, dense and down-home delicious. Even better, it 's quick to fix and, served warm with whipped cream or a dollop of frozen custard, one of my family's very favorite recipes for decades. -Sherry Ashenfelter, Waterville, Ohio

BAKED APPLES
An incredibly easy, inexpensive dessert to make, with the payoff of something much more elaborate. Fairly low-cal and with ingredients that are easy to keep on hand, this is a great dessert to pull together in a pinch. Good on its own, even better piping hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

EASY BAKE OVEN BAKED APPLE
This is really yummy. The taste is close to the real one. It's *really* great if your little ones suddenly crave baked apples, though it take long time to bake a slice of apple. Your kids WILL enjoy making her/his own treat. She/he can drizzle honey before baking or use honey instead of sugar. Both works well. Have fun!
