Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F.
  • Mix together the flour, black pepper, seasoning salt and salt on a plate.
  • Sprinkle the pork chops with a little salt and black pepper on both sides, then, one at a time, dredge in the flour mixture and set aside.
  • Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When the butter has melted and the oil is hot, cook the pork chops in groups of 4, until golden on both sides, 5 to 6 minutes total. Keep the chops warm in the oven until they are all cooked, then serve.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper, plus more for sprinkling
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for sprinkling
16 bone-in breakfast chops
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons salted butter

ED ZIEBA'S FAMOUS FAMILY PORK CHOPS

This is a homemade recipe from my dad. Whenever I make these for someone, they fall in love with it and always request I make more. It fills your home with a wonderful smell and is the best way to have cheap chops go so tender they fall right off the bone. Serve with hot sauce and mashed potatoes.

ED ZIEBA'S FAMOUS FAMILY PORK CHOPS - REVIEW BY KASEY927
Web Oct 11, 2011 I love pork chops but every time I make them they come out tough and dry. I tried this recipe hoping they would come out tender, and that is exactly what happened. ED ZIEBA'S FAMOUS FAMILY PORK CHOPS - REVIEW BY JWHACKERS
Web Aug 29, 2011 best pork chops I have ever had. I didn't have season salt, so I just used garlic powder, salt and pepper. I also added a few sliced potatoes on top. So tender and delicious. They aren't the nicest looking pork chops, but they are delicious. Next time, I will try browning them first.

ED ZIEBA'S FAMOUS FAMILY PORK CHOPS - REVIEW BY TURNUSON2
Web May 6, 2008 This is fabulous! Follow the directions and like magic - juicy, tender and tasty pork chops/onions. This is my favorite pork chop recipe. I like to use 3/4" or larger bone-in. Web Apr 19, 2007 I was overall pleased with this dish. I noticed that one user mentioning the meat came out dry and another user mentioning the use of a gravy. I kept the gravy comment in mind and added some flour to the left over liquid in the dish and got a nice semi-thick …
