This recipe is so much better than take out! Serve it with homemade fried rice or plain rice. If you like spicy, just add more chili pepper flakes!

- Place cornstarch in a large bowl; gradually whisk in water until smooth. Whisk eggs into cornstarch mixture; toss steak strips in mixture to coat.
- Pour canola oil into wok 1-inch deep; heat oil over high heat until hot but not smoking. Place 1/4 of the beef strips into hot oil; separate strips with a fork. Cook, stirring frequently, until coating is crisp and golden, about 3 minutes. Remove beef to drain on paper towels; repeat with remaining beef.
- Drain off all but 1 tablespoon oil; cook and stir carrot, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, green onions, ginger, and garlic over high heat until lightly browned but still crisp, about 3 minutes.
- Whisk sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper together in a small bowl. Pour sauce mixture over vegetables in wok; bring mixture to a boil. Stir beef back into vegetable mixture; cook and stir just until heated through, about 3 minutes.

- Sprinkle beef strips with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet, brown beef in 1 teaspoon oil. Remove and keep warm. , In the same skillet, saute onions in remaining oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the tomatoes, broth, wine, bay leaf, basil and thyme. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. , Return beef to the pan; cook for 2-4 minutes or until tender. Discard bay leaf. Serve with rice. Freeze option: Freeze cooled beef mixture in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. - Whisk water, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, honey, and ginger together in a bowl until well combined.
- Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook and stir until browned, about 4 minutes. Move steak to the side of the wok. Add remaining tablespoon sesame oil to the center of the wok, followed by broccoli, snow peas, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook, stirring the vegetables, for 2 minutes.

- In a shallow dish, combine the first six ingredients. Cut steak into four wide strips; add to the marinade and turn to coat. - Combine the soy sauce, oils, garlic, ginger, sugar, zest, red pepper, and scallion in a small bowl.
- PREPARING THE STEAK TIPS:.
- Combine the marinade and meat in gallon-size zipper-lock bag; press out as much air as possible and seal bag. Refrigerate 1 hour, flipping bag after 30 minutes to ensure that meat marinates evenly.
- About halfway through marinating time, turn burners on grill to high, close lid, and heat grill until hot, about 15 minutes.
- Remove steak tips from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Grill, covered, until well seared and dark brown on first side, about 4 minutes. Using tongs, flip steak and grill until second side is well seared and thickest part of meat is slightly less done than desired, 4-5 minutes for medium-rare (about 130 degrees on instant-read thermometer) 6-8 minutes for medium (about 135 degrees); if exterior of meat if browned but steak is not yet cooked through, move steak to cooler side of grill and continue to desired doneness.
- Transfer steaks to cutting board; tent loosely with foil and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice steak very thinly on the bias. Serve immediately with orange wedges.
