GRANDMA'S GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE
As the title suggests, this was my Grandmother's recipe. I've tweaked the amount of cheese and sour cream depending on what I've got in the fridge and it always turns out great! My mother has suggested this was made up as a way to use up ingredients in the fridge.

Steps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Mix sugar, salt, garlic salt and tomato sauce into ground beef; simmer until flavors blend, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, cover skillet, and cool to room temperature.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain and cool slightly.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- Mix sour cream, cream cheese, and onion in a bowl.
- Scoop half the noodles into the prepared casserole dish; top with half the sour cream mixture. Spoon half the ground beef mixture atop sour cream layer. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients. Top casserole with Cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until Cheddar cheese has browned, 25 to 30 minutes.

GRANDMAS HAMBURGER PIE WITH CORNBREAD TOPPING
My grandma made this for us as kids all the time. She passed away two years ago and I recently came across a lot of her recipes and wanted to share them with the Zaar world. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. It's a quick and easy one dish meal. I always fix up a salad to go with it. This recipe has lots of possibilities. You could add green beans and potatoes to the mixture as well.Addition: I have realized that I did leave out an ingredient in the topping. I found the recipe and looked and--sure enough, you need milk.

JUICIEST HAMBURGERS EVER
No more dry, lackluster burgers. These are juicy, and spices can be easily added or changed to suit anyone's taste. Baste frequently with your favorite barbeque sauce. If you find the meat mixture too mushy, just add more bread crumbs until it forms patties that hold their shape.

GRANDMA'S CABBAGE BURGERS!
Imagine soft buttery yeast rolls stuffed with savory cabbage and beef. That's what these cabbage burgers are. The bread is sweet and fluffy. Perfect on its own. We opted to use ground beef, but you can use any type of meat you like. The beef is browned with onion and garlic so it's very flavorful. Adding cabbage and letting it...

Steps:
- 1. I use my bread machines to make the bread. Add 1 Tbsp yeast and 1 Tbsp sugar to 1 cup warm water and mix until dissolved. Place in the bread machine.
- 2. Add beaten egg and butter.
- 3. Add all of the dry ingredients.
- 4. Set the bread maker to the dough setting and start the dough process. I have it set up so when I take one batch of bread dough out I start the next loaf right away. Then by the time the cabbage burgers come out of the oven and cool I can be working on the next batch.
- 5. While dough in the bread machine, cook the ground meat, onions, garlic, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Drain the meat and set aside.
- 6. While you are browning the meat you should chop up the cabbage. I like medium-sized chunks of cabbage.
- 7. Add cabbage to the meat mixture and check seasonings to taste. Add about a half cup of water.
- 8. Let simmer on low until the cabbage is tender.
- 9. As soon as everything is ready to go, roll out dough on a floured surface. Cut dough into 12 squares large enough for a heaping 1/2 cup of the cabbage mixture.
- 10. Place 1/2 cup of filling in the center of one square of dough.
- 11. Fold up the corners and "just a pinch" to seal them.
- 12. Place them on a large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, till nice and golden brown.
- 13. Lightly brush tops of rolls with butter.
- 14. Serve right from the oven and freeze the rest if there is any. Enjoy!!!
- 15. You can cut this down. I only do the majority of my baking in the winter so I do it this way and freeze them.
GRANDMA'S HAMBURGER DRESSING/STUFFING
I just love this recipe. I've never written it down and I hope this is pretty close, because I always just make it by heart. As a child I always demanded this during Thanksgiving and Xmas. It's a savory and delicious side dish anytime. UPDATE: Just went home to Michigan and found copy my grandmother wrote down and this recipe is EXACT! It's scaled down 1/3 so make double and triple this recipe if you have a large family, because I GUARANTEE they'll love it!

- In a frying pan brown ground beef with the other half of the onion. Drain about half of the fat. Add garlic salt, sage and pepper.
- In a large bowl add beef mixture, vegetable liquid, egg and torn pieces of wheat bread. Mix until combined. If too dry you might need to add a little more water or you can use beef broth.
- Pour mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes or until nice and brown.

- Combine hamburger and onions in a large saucepan over medium-high heat and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until hamburger is browned and onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium and add 3 cups of water and the Kitchen Accomplice Beef Broth Concentrate or Beef Bone Broth Concentrate, stirring to dissolve the concentrate. Bring liquid to a simmer.
- Combine flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and the remaining 1 cup of water in a container with a lid. Shake well, until mixture is free of lumps. Slowly add the flour-water mixture to the simmering stock, whisking constantly, until the gravy comes back to a simmer and reaches the desired consistency.
- Add Worcestershire sauce to taste and simmer hamburger gravy for another 5 to 10 minutes, reducing the heat as needed to keep it just at a simmer. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper if necessary.
