- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute celery and onion in oil until tender. Stir in noodles and remaining ingredients. , Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until heated through.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Gradually whisk in cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes longer. , Add the ham, cheese, onions, salt and pepper; cook, uncovered, until heated through. Drain noodles; add to ham mixture. Toss to coat; heat through.

Steps:
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart casserole.
- Bring water to a full rolling boil in a pot.. Cook the egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes; remove from heat, cover, and let stand until the noodles are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
- Stir the noodles, onion, sour cream, chicken soup, ham, and Swiss cheese together in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into the prepared casserole. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is bubbling and the bread crumbs have browned, about 40 minutes.

- Toss with hot cooked noodles. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
