Husker Chops image

Steps:

  • Brown the chops well in small amount of fat.
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper, and place in 9" x 13" baking dish.
  • Mix together the remaining ingredients.
  • Pour mixture over chops and cover with foil.
  • Bake in a 325 degree oven for 2 hours.
  • Remove foil the last 1/2 hour of baking.

6 pork chops (1" thick)
1 cup rice (uncooked)
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 cups milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup

Baked Sweet-Sour Pork Chops image

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, brown pork chops in oil; drain. , Line an 8-in. square baking dish with foil; coat the foil with cooking spray. Place pork chops in prepared pan; sprinkle with half of the green pepper, onion and carrot. Pour sauce over all. , Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining vegetables. Baste with sauce in pan. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until meat and vegetables are tender. Serve with rice if desired.

Dee's Stuffed Pork Chops image

Steps:

  • Sauté the onion and celery in butter.
  • Add to the stuffing mix, prepared with the amount of liquid indicated on the box.
  • Add egg and mix.
  • Cut a pocket in the pork chops; be careful not to cut yourself; I know that's funny coming from me, lol.
  • Stuff pork chops and place in a baking dish.
  • Shake soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce over the pork chops.
  • Sprinkle with Season-All salt, salt, and pepper.
  • Next, plop the mushroom soup, mixed with a little water, over the top to make a smooth gravy.
  • Cover with foil paper.
  • Bake for 90 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or until the pork chops are very tender. You can take the foil off for the last 10 minutes to brown the chops, if you want to brown them a little. Make sure you don't lose all the liquid or they will dry out.

  • In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Add pork chops; turn to coat. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight., Drain and discard marinade. Grill pork chops, covered, over medium heat for 10-15 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 145°. Let meat stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a shallow bowl or pie plate, whisk eggs with garlic powder and onion powder. Place cracker crumbs on a separate plate. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dip pork chops into the egg, then press in the cracker crumbs to coat. Fry in the hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes per side, just until golden brown. Remove to a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, turning once. Serve immediately.
