  • Layer in a pony glass or shot glass in the order given.
  • The secret is to pour slowly, barely dribble the liqueurs into your glass.
  • Start with your first liqueur and pour it into your glass, now take your spoon and place the tip of the spoon very close to your first liqueur, now carefully and slowly pour in your second liqueur over the back of the spoon and into the glass, then your third.

3/4 ounce green creme de menthe
3/4 ounce irish cream
3/4 ounce brandy

Steps:

  • Beat butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in flour. Divide dough into thirds; place each in separate medium bowl. Add different flavor dry gelatin mix to dough in 2 bowls; mix well. Leave dough in remaining bowl plain.
  • Cut 18x4-inch strip from parchment; use to line 9x5-inch loaf pan, with ends of paper extending over sides. Press dough, 1 flavor at a time, into prepared pan, placing plain dough in between layers of colored dough. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  • Heat oven to 350ºF. Use parchment handles to remove dough from pan; invert onto cutting board. Cut into 3/8-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice crosswise into 3 pieces. Place, 1 inch apart, on parchment-covered baking sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until centers are set. Cool 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

  • Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, tarragon and Dijon mustard in small bowl and whisk to blend. Whisk in enough water by teaspoonfuls to make dressing thin enough to pour. Season dressing to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Arrange lettuce on platter as base of salad. Place salad bar ingredients over lettuce in attractive pattern. Top with sliced hard-boiled eggs. Drizzle dressing over salad. Place cheese wedges at ends of platter and serve.
