Kelloggs Rice Krispies Butterscotch Squares Recipes

Steps:

• 1. In large bowl combine KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal, butterscotch morsels, raisins, apricots and pecans.
• 2. In medium saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and peanut butter. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until well coated.
• 3. Evenly press into 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish coated with cooking spray. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into squares. Best if served the same day.

• In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Add butterscotch pudding mix.
• Stir in vanilla and KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan.
• Allow mixture to cool slightly. Cut into 5 cm squares. Best if served same day.

Steps:

• Melt butterscotch morsels with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. Remove from heat.
• Add KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal to butterscotch mixture, stirring until well coated. Press half of cereal mixture into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Chill in refrigerator while preparing filling. Set remaining cereal mixture aside.
• Combine chocolate morsels, powdered sugar, butter and water. Stir over very low heat until chocolate melts and mixture is well blended. Spread over chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over top. Press in gently. Chill. Remove from refrigerator for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

• In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Heat just until bubbly (Do not boil or the bars become a little hard).
• Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir until well blended, then gently stir in cereal.
• Press mixture lightly into buttered 9 x 13 pan.
• Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips and melt in microwave or double boiler.
• Immediately spread over bars in pan.
• Refrigerate just until chocolate sets and hardens slightly.
• Cut in squares. Makes 3 to 4 dozen bars.

Add KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated. Press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside.
• Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm. Cut into 2 x 1-inch bars when cool.
