- Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time and mix each well. Sift together cocoa and flour. Add to egg mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour in prepared 9x13 pan, bake 20-25 mins on 350. Check at 20 minutes.

Mix the flour with the salt and baking powder and slowing add to the creamed mixture, blending well. Pour into a lightly greased and floured 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
